Dude, the moment Erza is down, another woman (or women) takes the lead. And then Macau kinda puts it into words.

MACAU: "But honestly, I wonder why it is... all the women in our guild are so damn strong."

But seriously, this series is so One Piece-like that earlier I was thinking, "but maybe it won't use the transmisogynist tropes/humor." I was, of course, wrong.

The cis women are extremely varied in personality, are often more powerful than the men, but have all exactly the same body. That means: unbelievable big boobs. I kinda laughed when whathisname called Lucy "that big-boobied newbie." Dude, "big-boobied"? Is there a not big-boobied woman?

Luffy kinda annoys me though. I mean Natsu. yes, Natsu. (Also that face-tattoo guy who was all "seductive villain" with Erza.)

Edit: Okay. Erza is fucking AMAZING. In a chapter called, "There is always someone better" that has her in the cover, Luffy (shut up) not only is saved by Erza (who is badly hurt), but she utterly kicks the ass of the man Luffy was fighting.

Daughter of ETA: And this suddenly turned into a shoujo! Pfffft. They were in play called "Yanderica and Frederick" where Lucy was princess Yanderica, Erza was Prince Frederick, Gray was rival/villain I can't remember the name (who was going to get naked anyway), and Luffy was the Dragon! I have shipped this since the first moment, okay! I don't care about face-tattoo and his emotional superiority ways.

Screw this again: LLUVIA AND LUCY. SCREW GRAY. Well, screw everything. I ship Lucy with everyone. Oh little black-dress girl.
