OMG this manga is fantastic II
Yes, I should be sleeping, but OM is about to end, okay?
The Dear Kaby story was a little piece of brilliancy. Very heartwarming how Hiro Mashima wrote about a writer's pain of creating something against their creative vision, under pressure; and being ashamed of the result.
And Lucy! How she is such a geek and smart and a writer also! It's basically her coming of age's story, Natsu looks really like the otherworldly mentor right now.
And pfft, "A man that tastes better than alcohol? Such a thing doesn't exist." A badass, powerful, attractive and heavy-drinker character. And yes, not a man. Sadly, I still don't know her name.
It has problems of course, shonen manga in the end. Anything that has to do with with women and looks. But well, is still hella refreshing.
Edit: ERZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. And this is a completely different woman from the previous two mentioned in this very entry. A woman who is apparently stronger than everyone else so much that the powerful male leads are scared shitless of her. Heck, no one can believe when she teams with someone else (someone else: the two most powerful male leads)! Seriously, this writer loves me.
Also, my computer is dying.

NATSU (fucking shonen male lead uber powerful whom we know almost nothing about): I will go along with you Erza. But with one condition.
EVERYONE: *Shocked*
NATSU: When we return. Fight with me. I'm different from back then.
GRAY (powerful male rival): Are you stupid? YOU WANNA DIE?
ERZA: *amused* I'm not confident in myself, but I will do it.
NATSU: What do you mean you aren't confident? Fight me seriously!
ERZA: Gray, do you want to fight me too?
GRAY: *shakes head desperately*
Also, love everyone always assuming Lucy defeated the monkey and did all the other jobs by herself.
Oh Erza. Love at first sight. Did I mention she is uber calm and collected, tells Lucy to call her "just Erza," and wears, you know, an armor. Like, fully clothed.
Man, was Claymore the last time I was like this?
