Racefail 2010 has arrived. Why
And it starts with the upcoming liveaction movie of Bleach by WB. (See link for comments of white people saying they don't care about Asian actors because Bleach is not that Japanese anyway.)
Seriously, white people. Seriously. The day you understand that race relations aren't something relative... it will be... for fucks sake, it will never come.
ETA: Okay, I will word it better. White people? Go fuck yourself. Hard. This show doesn't need Asian actors? What. Nothing distinctive? I mean, what about the fact that IT'S A JAPANESE SHOW AND WHITE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN APPROPRIATING EVERYTHING NOT WHITE SINCE THEY STARTED COLONIZING COUNTRIES CENTURIES AGO, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES.

I'm doing this before Amano piss me off next week, which I'm sure she will do because let's be honest. In one corner we have Hibari, fandom's sweetheart due to being male and "badass" (which means no character development) in a fandom full of 15 year old fangirls who want to marry him (I kid you not, there are official polls about this). In the other, we have Suzuki, new female character with barely two lines and big boobs which I have already heard complains about. (I will do something really, really bad if she ends all mesmerized by him.)
ETA AGAIN: Aaaaand. People are calling her a bitch already. Because she dared to defy Hibari (we lasted this long without gendered insults). Meanwhile, the clumsy, Tsuna-alike new male character is very much fangirled all over the place. Oh, fandom. Please. Change soon or kill your misogyny with fire.
This is WSJ and people write what popularity polls tell you to write. I will be pissed next week.But I'm delusional and hopeless, please Amano don't let me down.
Also, not so amused by "Shitt P." (the name I mean). Reborn, I like you a lot more when you aren't trying to be Dragon Ball. Something you aren't doing much these days.
Oh God another ETA: And now I feel dirty. Why do I always keep up reading fic of people whose, uhm, "opinions" will make me want to stab things. It's my fault, I know, have done this a thousand of times already, and never learn. You all know it. But this fandom? Full of bishonen-wanting hipsters. Holy cow, het-is-toxic kind of fangirls. And Suzuki is a damn fucking Japanese last name, it's not like your white stupid ass needs that much of an education to know that.
