As my local newspaper seems to have dropped the subject a while ago, I checked the New York Times--and the most recent article never mentioned that more than 25 people could have died. I also briefly checked Amnesty International's latest news releases, but it seems to be concerned more with human rights abuses in Kenya and Sri Lanka right now.

What a world we live in. ¬¬
