Okay, I admit it. This was mostly focused first on East and South-East Asian actors because it was so trendy to whitewash those characters. But you know what? Screw that. Let's go with all of Asian like it should have been from the start.
I want to ask you something. Does this man looks like Keanu Reeves? No? Right.
Better known for playing Dr. Lawrence Kutner in House M.D.. He protagonizes Harold & Kumar series with John Cho, also was in 24, Superman Returns, The Call, and is now starring in Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.
We all know he quit House to work as a Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, wiki says: "Penn serves as a liaison with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities. He has gone back to using his birth name, Kalpen Modi."
I'm not sure if he has quit acting for good. There is a Harold & Kumar movie to be filmed if I'm not wrong.
Anyway, huge crush here. He was the reason I endured the last House episodes I watched.

And I completely understood the sense in sticking to East Asian origin actors, but since you have chosen to include desi ones, woo hoo!

Nah, the discussion that triggered this was about East Asian erasure, but you know, apparently Hollywood thinks "there aren't Indian actors out there!!", so.
