But this week is like earlier Christmas for my fandom and my OTP, so YAAAAAAAAAAY! Gorgeous pics all around.

Some day I will talk about this conversation I had with Kiri about Fei Wong Reed attractiveness and how it affects fandom's reception and probably CLAMP's treatment, specially comparing him with other CLAMP's bastards around (Taishakuten, Okiura, etc., I'm looking at you).

Taishakuten I'm kind of neutral on (probably because Yuri roleplays AU versions of him that I really like >.O) but I hate Okiura. I mean, how much of a bastard do you have to be to be fucking with both the woman you used to be married to and the children she takes care of? CLAMP could draw him naked with a tattoo on his back (ew I just threw up in my mouth a little) and I'd still hate him. Fei Wang I hate because he fucks with children and because he's shallow as all get-out. Has nothing to do with him being a buttchin. I mean, I hate Kyle too and he has pretty much the same problems as Fei Wang (fucks with children, shallow) and one could argue that he's much prettier.

But uh, you were talking about the fandom at large, so this comment largely has no bearing on anything. XD

See, there is the problem, Kyle had barely have great moments. FWR? He was the main villain and the master-puppeteer. Remember when Kuro killed Kyle and FWR was just behind him smirking with his "better than thou" face? Yeah, I have seen people fanboy and fangirl other bastards for moments like those.

Were he bishonen-like, or baddass-looking... another story. I bet they would have shipped him with Yuuko or something. I hate the guy, but I would've loved it if he was good looking and was killed like he was and everyone would go "better him dead" like they are doing now, and not... Darth-Vader him like I have see other villains. But like this? Still the less physically attractive villain CLAMP had, and goes like this. And I know why.

Because fandom, I know the Light Yagami Syndrome.
