... Wasn't it? TV Tropes says it was, something at the end of Rou? (I don't know if they mean anime or manga though.)

Mm, I'd bet the anime then, I just reread the manga and didn't see anything.

(Is the Rou anime worth watching, do you know/have an opinion?)

That was my reaction! Except for the assuming all along, because it hadn't occurred to me.

Yeah, me neither! But it kind of makes sense, in a fucked-up CLAMP way. (I SO can imagine Ohkawa reasoning: they both loved Watanuki the most, if they were with someone else and that person loved them the most they would hurt them; if they were with someone else who loved someone who wasn't Watanuki the marriage could get ugly; so they have to got together because then they love the same person the most and they both know it! Or something.)

Not gonna lie, the shippers who read my translations clued me in to it. I wouldn't have seen it from just the manga at all otherwise.
