Grace Park

Better known by her portrayal of Sharon Valerii in Battlestar Galactica (I don't understand that canon, so don't ask me how many character she did there) (yes, this comes from a Tsubasa's fan), Grace was a model, and did a lot of tv already. She also holds a degree in Psychology.

And look at this woman.

1. I thought it was really interesting in BSG how she had one of the best played characters in S1 and yet so many people said she was a terrible actor...

2. BSG really lost me when they had her doing naked tai chi. That just piseed me the fuck off.

1. Hm. really? I'm not much into that fandom. I know bits of this and that, but knowing fandom it's not like I would think what you say is unlikely or something...

2. Ah. I just was thinking (by the pictures and things I was reading) maybe they liked to sex her character up, with her being ex-model and all that, but that just is... ack.

Well, they did this thing where they said they were aiming for a mostly unified culture of multiple ethnicities- they went out of their way to find really neutral clothing, weird cars that weren't associated with a particular time period, and then they went and had her doing naked tai chi and made a planet of black religious fundamentalists in dashikis and headwraps...

Well, Hollywood. (And I heard the first part, with the lesbians and gender-equality or whatever, but again, Hollywood.)
