Libya warplanes bombing Tripoli-resident.

Libyan warplanes were bombing indiscriminately across Tripoli on Monday, a resident of the Libyan capital told al Jazeera television in a live broadcast.

"What we are witnessing today is unimaginable. Warplanes and helicopters are indiscriminately bombing one area after another. There are many, many dead," Adel Mohamed Saleh said.

Women of Egypt says there were 250 killed today.

This is horrible.

That Gadhafi's still in power, and allowed to do this, is just. How many more civilian deaths will it take for the man to step down?

Yeah, I agree. And if he didn't have support (international support, I think, no matter what people might be saying officially), he would've been forced to step down by now.

Oh, my God. I was reading the Al Jazeera blog last night and thought that Gaddafi would cling to power as long as he could, but I didn't think that the government would send out planes to shoot down protesters.
