I'm kinda dead, but I'm here and I will be spamming.

Meanwhile I just read Kobato's manga and I have to say that first anime episode didn't do it justice. It wasn't bad, but some things were just wrong for me. (They had to cut a lot and I understand that, sadly, the cut everything that made the manga work in those first arcs.) The manga it's charming, and not exactly that kid-friendly, I guess that was went wrong with the anime. And I don't dislike Fujimoto quite that much, not exactly like him, but I don't dislike him at all either.

I LOOOVE Ioryogi though. Silly manga is lovely.

I really do need to get on reading Kobato now that I got caught up in time with Tsubasa and am up to date with Holic so far. *nodnod*

And really, is anything CLAMP does completely kid-friendly? XDD

Even CCS had some stuff that they had to "fix" for the monstrousity that was the American dub to make it more "friendly." Ugh. Even their innocent fluffy stuff tends to have something that would raise eyebrows, ya know?

Oh yes! It's very charming!

Well, CCS was kid-friendly, the things the American dub cut was due to homophobia. Okay, there is the Terada thing, but that was kid-friendly by CLAMP's standards. I don't want to know. The thing is there was no alcohol and mentions to sex and some other more complex themes (I don't want to spoiler XD). Kobato definitely has those.

Oh I know, and CCS is definitely their most kid-friendly work. I was just saying even it has some things other people would be like freaked out at. (Which in my opinion is STUPID D< )

(And I'm sure if the dub got that far they would have cut any implications between Tereda and Rika and even Eriol and Kaho.)

CLAMP just tends to leave a bit of unique twists even in their most innocent works, that's all I meant. I totally agree that Kobato is more adult than CCS, by far.
