I started reading Eden: It's an Endless World! by Hiroki Endo. Damn if it isn't already awesome.

Character textual quote here, keep in mine I'm just in the first volume:

"We've got all nationalities, ethnicities, and genders working here. In 1991, at the start of the experiment, all the members were white people. It was a bit of a problem."

Yay, Eden! It's one of my favourite manga to date, and one of the few ones I still read regularely. I love the worldbuiling and characters, though it does get more and more violent as the story progresses.

It's a really good manga! But damn, I just... can't put a name of what happened at the end of vol 3, because that was... disappointing doesn't begin to cover it.

Yes, I remember that. I stopped reading the story for a few months then because I couldn't stomach it - but be warned, he pulls stuff like that a lot.

It's good, it has its problems, but it's really good. But it's gore, and sometimes... well, without spoiling, the end of vol 3 really left me.... aaaaaaaarg.
