God, is it normal to hate Hiroshi this much? It's even making me dislike Michiko. My goodness, woman, I know this is all about your idealized relationship, but I hate how she is measuring her own and other women's worth by the interest he has on her/them.

He is the character I hated since my childhood's days, the pretty white-man who makes everybody obsess with him without doing nothing except being a piece of shit (granted, I would have hated him even if he did something besides that).

The end of episode 19 made me cry. Hard. Damn it, Atsuko, she doesn't deserve you. And no, it's not only me being bitter and butt-hurt over my ship (which I am), she really doesn't care about you. I would be less bitter if someone showed half the care towards Atsuko that... everyone shows towards Hiroshi.

I know have to talk about Satoshi too.

Edit: ~~Oh! What's up with those deserts and desert-like towns? Brazil is no USA, or whatever country that expands over a lot of territory.~~ Forget ir. Brazil has one desert. I don't think it's like what we see in the anime, but I'll shut up now.

ETA:Ahahaha. I love how the truth about Hiroshi is coming out. And I loove Satoshi and Hana (Satoshi more than Hatchin, sorry, know I shouldn't). Their interaction is priceless.

I kinda found what a loser Hiroshi is rather cathartic; it made me like Cowboy Bebop better retrospectively. Because at least the anime knows that he's the pretty white-man everybody obsess about and who doesn't deserve it?

OH YES. And that deserves it won post. I like how it's addressed that he has such an effect on people because he just made them feel good by complimenting them, never criticizing them and pretending to listen to them even if he doesn't really care.

God, yes, that scene with Atsuko crying broke my heart and I ship them so hard, it isn't fair. I KIND OF WANTED TO PUNCH MICHIKO IN THE FACE MORE THAN ONCE. And Hana, god, I love her forever. :( And Satoshi is like one of my favorites.
