Arrrg. I'm dead tired. And have awful intestinal cramps (or whatever those things are called). Like awful. And the heat is/was killing me. So long day was long at school. I came home and just wanted to see my bed.

But you know what? I'm fucking tired of big egos and how they become the center of a discussion that was originally about racism. What are we discussing now? White people's supposed vendettas against each other.

So I will tell you, I just came to know all these people's big names by this whole mess. I don't care about TNH, PNH, Cramer and WS. I don't know who they are, don't know them as persons, and couldn't careless to do it. But I'm still fucking disgusted at their insulting and racist comments and attitudes. So are most POC. That's all. My stomach hurts. (I'm not mentioning all that shit Cramer and WS are doing to other people because it's just mind-blowing and I don't want to deal with that. Fucking adults indeed.)

... What? I don't get it. Is Yuuko a failed creation of Clow? Or was she just affected by th mess he did with her? Does Yuuko have her dimensional powers because the experiment Clow did on her?

CLAMP. Why?

I didn't care about Clow before. Now I plainly dislike him. Seriously, how "fucked-up love made him" and all his tragic!faults matter nothing to me. Yuuko was/is the most powerful female and uber badass. And damn unique if you ask me. She is now the passive subject of Clow's... whatever. Why? There was a reason I was damn wary of that pairing.

ETA: Btw, what is this creepy pattern of men manipulating women's bodies because they love them so much and don't want them to die? Syaoran, Clow, and maybe FWR are all the same type of "I will clon her body/scatter her memories through dimensions/other things because I don't want her to disappear" (or in FWR's case, "I will use Sakura's body because it will be useful to whatever plans I have")? WTH? Is it my imagination

If it turns out that this is all about Clow and FWR's Macho Fight for Yuuko, I'm going to. Break something. DX

(Out of curiosity, did you read/watch CCS? Because CCS!Clow is very, very different from TRC!Clow and that's part of what has fandom so very WTF-ed about this.)

Oh yeah. The Macho fight. I'm going to... do something bad to my eyes if that turns true. I'm still hoping that Xing Huo is FWR real objective, you know, another woman. But that better than Yuuko.

(Oh yes, I did! I remember him as a loving mentor-father type figure. But have to be honest, never focused much on him. ^^; But heck, Syaoran and Sakura are very much different from their CCS counterparts. Yeah, Clow may be the same, but I think CLAMP sometimes decide to change their characters development. You know, a lot of time since CCS and a lot of characters they went through. -_- It wouldn't surprise me. )

I honestly don't know what to think about it anymore. Yuuko is such an awesome character, and if she goes from "one of the power behind the scenes" to "the girl they're fighting for" it'd be just.... aaargh. AND IT'S WOMEN WRITING THIS.

That would be awful. But there is still all of Yuuko's relationship with Watanuki, how XXXholic is her series, and Clow is barely mentioned there, so... I don't lose hopes. XP

You know, I love TRC way more than CCS, but I see how frustrating the characterization's twists of the characters you loved can be. But well, you can always think about CCS's canon without involving TRC. That's what fandom is for. XP And if you can't, well, we still don't really know anything conclusive! -_-;

I cling to that, really. Although I kind of hoped that Clow would get mentioned more there, but now... yeah. Partly because of liking Clow/Yuuko, yes, but also because he's one of my favourite characters. :/ Sob, CLAMP, whyyy. (You see, the thing with Clow/Yuuko is that most of us fans actually liked that pairing because they were equals. I guess we made the mistake of forgetting this was being handled by CLAMP.)

Oh yeah, I know! You see, I was always wary of that pairing, but then I read some Holic's drama written by Ohkawa in which Yuuko totally looked like the more dominant of the two, and she was anything but sickly-in-love which was the thing I feared the most (he was cooking and looking more interested in her than she did in him, she was talking about Watanuki and other stuff) because the "I DID IT ALL FOR LOVE" was something I would have hated (yeah, even more than this, powerful woman who was doing it all because she loved some powerful man, women have no ambitions for themselves but to love some man, etc.), so my hopes went up. But now... I don't know.

I liked it better when it looked like they were both doing it for the multiverse and because it was the right thing. :/

Yeah. Something like that I would have liked. They could have been their respective most important persons and all that. Just without... some things.

Seriously. You can have two characters be in love without that being their main/only motivation. Hell, it worked in Avatar and that one was about actual teenagers.

Aren't you kind of... leaping to conclusions? I still have no idea what's going on, but I don't think it's THAT. Yuuko clearly had powers BEFORE she met Clow, otherwise they probably would not have become associates. Yuuko being his "creation" or being "powerful because of him" doesn't make sense at all.

And as for women having their bodies manipulated to stay alive, uh, you're acting like that hasn't happened to several males in the work as well. Yasha and "Fay" easily spring to mind (HOW long did Yuui hang onto his CORPSE!?), besides Kyle also being a creation of Fei Wang's. And then there's the mess that is Watanuki...

Oh probably, I'm just ranting about things I'm glimpsing. Yeah, Yuuko may had her powers before meeting Clow, but I think FWR stated that she was The Witch of Dimensions because of... something like what happened to Sakura.

XD Of course it happened. But you see, we have the three main stories about "saving someone": apparently, powerful and important main characters "saving" their loved ones in... these strange ways. The plot as we know it is constructed around those three wishes: Clow who failed, Syaoran who reversed time to try, and FWR who was trying to success where Clow failed. And their instruments/objectives are women. Yeah, there are men clones and everything, but that doesn't change the problematic I see in the plot right know. Of course, we know almost nothing, and things could be very different. I would like so.

About CLAMP: you know, I'm this close to make a huge post about how MKR, with all its faults, did this plot ten times better. At least Emeraude had opinions and I can't say the same about Sakura.
And about Clow/Yuuko, I adore them because they were equals and now. Now I hope it won't turn out that way but fuck, I gave up trusting CLAMP a long time ago.

Ahaha, I don't know, I may be mad about this last bit, but I love TRC and its plot, so yeah, I don't think it's bad at all. (To me? Better than a lot of their other works.) XD Opinios, I guess. But yeah, it has it's huge problems, like this Yuuko's thing if it ends being true. -_-

I'm a weird CLAMP fan (I like Nekkoi's art better because Mokona's is completely incomprensible para mí, I like Suki Dakara Suki & Angelic Layer, I don't give a damn about X/1999) so TRC was somewhat fun during the first part, but I really hate CLAMP's brand of angst. So yeah, TRC at first wasn't something I liked but now it's starting to spill angstangst all over my Happy CLAMP Series and I don't want that.
