I don't have much to say in a public comment except that this sums up neatly and clearly a lot of what I was venting about to sparky in chat about something else in fandom that talked around and over the people it was supposedly talking about.

Anyway. Yeah. (Oh, and I think the difference between gender and race that you might be feeling the way I feel is that there aren't a tonne of men actively dominating the 'good ally' discourse the way that white people are.)
