Whoa if people didn't ask for him. XD I can see why.

Actor and martial artist, this man is hot. Has practiced martial arts since he was a child and has portrayed martial artists since the beginning of his acting career.

He also portrayed an Iroquois man in a French movie (something about wolves) where he wore loincloth and spoke in a pidgin. His character also apparently didn't have a last name. (I just had to share it because we all know Europe is so different in terms of racism.)

Anyway, the man is hot.

Even though it's not right they got him playing an NDN in Brotherhood of the Wolf, I really love the opening ass-beating he delivers.

Brotherhood of the Wolf? Wolves? The french, ovie, that is. His character did all the work while the main character made time with women, then he died and the main character got all the credit for doing a couple things at the end. (Naturally, he ends up with the virtuous-but-abused-at the-last-minute-so-he-can-save-her girl he mostly neglected the whole movie.)

The general consensus, in my experience, is that the movie would have been way better if he were the main character.

And in Crying Freeman, of which you have a couple of pics, by the same director of Brotherhood of Wolves.

ETA: I mention Crying Freeman cuz it's a case of a white guy going "hey this manga is cool! I wanna adapt it into a liveaction movie. And then he did not whitewash said movie, and actually casted Asian people in it! And the world did not end! And the movie did not flop! Isn't it amazing?

ETA2: you know what, I checked the wikipedia, and apparently I have been too hasty when saying there was no whitewashing, they just didn't whitewash everyone :(
