I know I should wait to finish the series and then share my thoughts like normal kids
But I can't.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJI. I'm swooning at the fighting team she and Kenji make. They are SO awesome fighting together. Even if I'm not that fond of Kenji, and Loji has written "going to die" all over her face. But I can't help but LOOOOOVE HER. (Loji = uber badass African teenage girl -that was also raped by an African guerrilla group, but you know how this manga is, can't give you something uber awesome without being EXTREMELY icky and questionable-.)
Loji also has a lovely relationship with Mana even if I'm also not that fond of the latter (or of anyone's of Elijah's family, for that matter).
Mirian also grew on me. Well, yeah, sometimes she still bothers me, but if she can be all awesome and badass with her revolver at Elijah's expense, yeah, of course I'm going to like her. Also, Hiroki seems to lover her more among all of his characters. Not that that means something, she is probably going to die horribly anyway.
I also love women with katanas, but that one kinda creeps me.
Something funny, the only thing I have managed to ship is a straight pair: Shivan/Mishima. Which I don't think is going to happen. Or so I wish. (Because this manga and its canon pairs...)
......... Oh crap. Mana is dead. She died horribly before Loji, which I didn't think was going to happen.
Still, her dying scene took PAGES, and she is now in the colloid, experimenting death and being explained the meaning of live by Maya, etc. It makes sense because the whole arc was about rescuing her. But still. Helena death's was... one page worth. And was barely mentioned after. And I think Helena appeared more than Mana (or it was just my biased mind?).
Yes, I will always be sore about that.
So, uhm, Mirian/Elijah still squicks the hell out of me (as it did Helena/Elijah, so I guess everything/Elijah squicks me). I hope this doesn't turn, "Mirian having Elijah's child who will start humanity again" (remember that that was what Lane wanted) or some kind of Eva's thing. Just saying. (Don't ask me how the hell they will repopulate Earth because I can't remember what Shinji and Asuka were supposed to do at the end of Evangelion.)
I'M SO IN LOVE WITH SHIVAN IS NOT EVEN FUNNY. I'M PREPARING MYSELF FOR HIS POINTLESS AND HORRIBLE DEATH.

Well, not all really. This is getting scarily to what I fear. Maya wants the surviving humanity to go to space. Let me guess, "humanity" = Mirian and her child (obviously Elijah's)? And maybe some other people. Hm. Also, I'm waiting for the ENNOIAH HAD IT ALL PLANNED shit.
