I... have so many mixed feeling with this. Right now it's mostly about prostitution and drug cartels in Latinoamerica. Which makes me wants to scream. And hit Hiroki Endo. (Why are those mafiosi and drug dealers spending all their days in fucking suits, dude?) And I don't understand the point of this. And I'm so tired of rape. But at least this isn't Bersek where everything is fanservice. But not being Berserk isn't also a good thing.
On the other hand, it really, really talks about structural inequalities. And it kinda does a, well, not decent, but a job humanizing prostitutes because at least... it has some situations of humor about their work. Some.
But also, mostly, Helena is so hot. And so incredibly incredible. And there is another girl who also likes her. (But I don't think that will go to some place.)
And anyone can see that the "rehabilitation thing" Elijah did with Manuela was going to end SO bad. Elijah is a stupid, stupid boy. I also blame him for that. (And because seriously, I SO hate his dad and everything that he represents, and how the people that are killed in his name are nothing. Because Elijah is used to control a system that is so corrupt, and he doesn't even notice. I wonder if those things are going to be touched.)
