Gundam 00, Season 2, End.
So I made myself finish it because.
As I said, politically, there were some awesome things like state terrorism by World Powers, manipulation of information and of the public, etc. After all, the main characters were the "terrorists" opposing the system, backed up by a Middle Eastern rebel group.
But I totally lost interest by the second half of the second season when it got less about the corrupt system and more about Complot of Evil Machines Against Humanity and The Evolution of Humankind. It was damn awkward handling drama (and boy, the series was all about drama), dialogue, and its characters were not that interesting.
For some pretty complex political themes, there were so many middle-school-like moral teachings about war and conflicts. Also, ridiculous and unintentionally funny situations (what the shit was that Mr. Bushido for God' sake?).
I won't recommend it unless you like pretty battles of mechas (the battles were exciting when it was about strategy, there was lot of detail about machinery and weaponry; as you can see, I'm not that into the Mecha franchise). If you like aestheticism in plot and characterization? Not so much.
